Tool · shortlist scorecard
Would a buyer put you on the shortlist? Twenty checks.
Answer yes or no. Four areas, five checks each: can buyers find you, does anyone else vouch for you, can a specifier use what you publish, and can they reach you. It takes about five minutes and stays in your browser.

What the total means
KS Media's reading, not a benchmark.
- 16 to 20 Easy to shortlist. Keep it current, and check the corroborated section is visible in search, not just true.
- 10 to 15 Shortlisted sometimes. The lowest area is where the next quarter's work should go.
- 0 to 9 Hard to shortlist. A buyer who doesn't already know you has little to go on.

Method
How the scorecard was built
The twenty checks come from what we record in every teardown and Diagnostic: what buyers find, what independent sources say, what a specifier can use and how easily a buyer can get a reply. Each check counts the same. The bands are our reading of what the totals mean, not a statistical benchmark, and no firm's scores are collected or stored.
